It is a dinner house, closed Tuesday and Wednesday by the hours the Main Street directory posts.
Savannah Bars: Tybee Island
Savannah's beach, at the end of US 80. The ocean side has the pier and the beach bars. The Back River side is quieter. A lot of locals said the best seafood is before you even cross the last bridge.
A seafood shack and daytime seafood market at the marina on Lazaretto Creek, just before the bridge onto Tybee. When someone on r/savannah asked for a lunch fish spot near Tybee, nearly every answer was this one name. Locals also point to it for peel-and-eat shrimp, hushpuppies and a smash burger.
The Savannah Jams guide (24 March 2026) describes a classic Tybee dive, 'loud, salty, no-frills', with blues and rock bands on Saturday nights from 9pm to 1am and no cover.
Fannie's is the pink-roofed building across from the beach on the Strand, which Visit Tybee describes as three floors of oceanfront fun. You can sit inside, streetside or upstairs on the open-air deck, where there is live music on weekends. The site calls it 'a funky little restaurant across from the beach' and says its Sunday brunch and Bloody Marys return in the fall.
A pizza bar set back from Highway 80, nowhere near the beach strip. Savannah Magazine readers voted it the Pizza winner in Best of Savannah 2026. The Savannah Jams live music guide (24 March 2026) lists bands in 'the backyard courtyard' on Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm to 1am.
Nickie's is a bar and grill on Butler Avenue at the south end, one block from Tybrisa Street. There is a full bar with craft beer, patio seating and live music.
Pier 16 is a family-owned seafood restaurant that opened in September 2020, one block from the beach. Salt Island Fish & Beer is a seafood and beer room on Lovell Avenue near the entrance to the island. The Main Street directory marks it a Turtle Friendly Restaurant, the island's label for businesses that manage their lights and waste for nesting sea turtles, and says pets are welcome outside. It closes on Tuesdays.

Sea Wolf sums itself up in three words on its site: oysters, dogs, fancy cocktails. The kitchen serves oysters, sausages and vegan food alongside house and classic cocktails, and it runs weekend brunch. The site says plainly that the bar has no telephone and takes no reservations. The same team runs the Cobra Room inside Lone Wolf Lounge in Savannah.
Sting Ray's is on Butler Avenue, Tybee's main strip, with what Visit Tybee describes as a spacious outdoor deck shaded by colorful beach umbrellas. The DMO lists fresh seafood and live music.
The Crab Shack is the creekside seafood yard on Chimney Creek whose motto is 'Where the Elite Eat in Their Bare Feet'. The signature order is Captain Crab's Sampler Platter ... crab legs, Georgia shrimp, mussels, crawfish, corn, sausage and potatoes. The grounds hold a gator lagoon the site says has 78 baby alligators, an aviary of rescued and adopted birds, a game room and a gift shop. Boats can tie up, parking is free, and leashed pets are welcome outside. No reservations ... the site says just show up and grab a seat.
The Deck sits on the sand side of Butler Avenue with a back deck over the beach ... its own site calls it Tybee's only beachfront restaurant. The menu draws on Australian, coastal Mexican and Hawaiian cooking, with fish tacos, fried shrimp platters and seafood bowls. It is a sister room to The Collins Quarter, Ukiyo, Fitzroy and Fishbar in Savannah. A cat named Marley lives outside and the site introduces him to guests. No reservations.
Beach Party is the Tybee room of Savannah's Treylor Park group, opened in 2024 in the building that held the Tybee Island Social Club. Cofounder Trey Wilder lived on Tybee for four years and told tybeeisland.com he did not want to lose any of the old club's character. The renovation added a bigger deck, a longer bar, more parking and a walk-up window for people coming off the beach. The patio has a sandpit for kids, and the week includes trivia on Wednesdays and live music.

The group now also has rooms in Savannah and Florida.
